The Quino el Guardian is a reliable vessel approved by both the US Coast Guard and the Mexican Coast Guard. It is equipped with state-of-the-art electronics and all the necessary safety equipment. The ship is 90 feet long and 23 feet wide. The Quino el Guardian can accommodate up to 16 passengers in 5 cabins (4 in quadruple occupancy and 1 in double occupancy).
Cabins
The cabins have 4 berths (two upper berths and two lower berths). Each berth has a privacy curtain, a comfortable mattress and quality bedding. A bath towel and a towel for the deck are provided per person and are changed halfway. Each cabin is equipped with four large drawers, one for each guest. There is also storage space under the lower berths and clothes/towel hooks in the cabin. Cabins are usually assigned by gender.
An additional 5th cabin with 2 berths is also available. This cabin is usually reserved for a couple.
All rooms and bathrooms are cleaned every morning, during the first dives of the day.
All rooms are air conditioned.
Bathrooms
The vessel has four air-conditioned bathrooms with a full-size shower in each bathroom on the dive deck. Each cabin is assigned to a bathroom so guests can leave their belongings and towels in the bathroom. Shampoo and soap dispensers are in each shower. There are two additional toilets on the dive deck which are shared by all passengers.
Other sections of the ship
The galley comfortably accommodates 16 passengers. The kitchen also has a projector and a large drop-down screen for giving presentations. The living room has sofas, a television and a computer table. The dive deck is large and well organized with a spacious table for the cameras. A diving platform facilitates the boarding of divers in inflatable boats. On the second deck, a large shaded terrace furnished with sun loungers is available for relaxing between dives.
