The Rocio del Mar is a reliable vessel approved by both the US Coast Guard and the Mexican Coast Guard. It is equipped with state-of-the-art electronics and all the necessary safety equipment. The ship is 110 feet long and 25 feet wide. The Rocio del Mar can accommodate up to 20 passengers in 10 cabins (8 cabins with 2 single beds and 2 cabins with 1 double bed).
Cabins
Each cabin is equipped with a private bathroom with hot shower, toilet and sink. Each cabin is carpeted and air-conditioned. There are full-length windows with privacy curtains and handy storage drawers for gear and clothes under the beds. We recommend that all private valuables are stored securely in the boat's secure safe. A bath towel and a towel for the deck are provided per person and are changed halfway. Each bed has an adjustable reading lamp to concentrate the lighting without disturbing your cabin mate. Cabins are usually assigned by gender.
Other sections of the ship
The galley comfortably accommodates 20 passengers and is located on the deck of the boat to minimize any feeling of movement during meals. The living room has sofas, a television and a computer table. The dive deck is large and well organized with a spacious table for the cameras. A diving platform facilitates the boarding of divers in inflatable boats. On the second deck, a large shaded terrace furnished with sun loungers is available for relaxing between dives in addition to the air-conditioned lounge.
Electrical outlets throughout the ship are on 110V, like the rest of North America. No adapter is required for your electronic devices.
